Child Care Center, Borough of Manhattan Community College		The substantial renovation and expansion of BMCC’s Early Childhood Center was complicated by its third floor location on a large megastructure. The daycare center, which serves children of students and faculty, tripled its instructional spaces through a combination of captured upper story space and a modest addition. Similarly, the outdoor play spaces were tripled through reconfiguring the 'ground' plane and through adding roof play.
